Our Present

Divya Prabha Eye Hospital was established in 1998, one year after Dr. N. Prabhakaran passed away. What started as a small eye clinic soon developed into a full-fledged eye hospital under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. Suseela Prabhakaran. With the wholehearted support of her relatives, friends, patients, and the medical industry, the hospital has steadily grown into one of the trusted eye care centers in Kerala.

Our journey has always been driven by one mission — providing quality, affordable and compassionate eye care to every patient.

Dr. N. Prabhakaran Memorial Eye Camp Scheme

The first major initiative organized by the hospital was the Dr. N. Prabhakaran Memorial Eye Camp Scheme. This continuing project was started with the aim of bringing the latest eye care facilities to economically weaker patients.

We firmly believe that nobody should lose their vision because of financial difficulties. Throughout our journey, we have never refused cataract surgery or other essential treatment simply because a patient could not afford it.
